Polson has been named one the Most Beautiful U.S. Towns: Adventure Edition, by CarRentals.com.
Lily Rogers, writer of the article, explained that “millions of social posts describing” scenic, adventurous places were analyzed.
During research, Rogers said that social media users “gave Polson a lot of love,” talking more about the city more than Bozeman and Kalispell.
She added, “we have to agree with the people; the city offers both gorgeous lake and mountain views” along with opportunities for exploring.
“Montana is a personal favorite for outdoor pursuits, and Polson does the state proud,” Rogers said.
In the list, Rogers advises readers to venture onto Flathead Lake with Flathead Raft Company or with Polson Boat Rentals.
She also suggests for visitors to walk down the stairs of the SKQ Dam, “for inspiring sights.”
