Troy High choir stands out at district festival

Troy High School participated in the District Music Festival in Kalispell April 13 and 14, and came away with high marks, with five students scoring high enough on the second day to advance to the state competition.
While many choirs received a superior rating, which comes from a point score between 22 and 25 points, the Troy High School Choir was the choir with the highest point score, with a 24, said Troy High School music teacher Sheri Schweitzer.
All students who received a superior will advance to the state competition.

16-12: Good (III)
11-7: Fair (IV)
6-0: Poor (V)
