A 22-year-old Coeur d’Alene man has died from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle crash Sunday on Ramsey Road.

Idaho State Police reported Friday that Casey Mitchell died Tuesday, April 17.

The wreck occurred around 8 p.m. when Annette Mitchell, 49, who was southbound on Ramsey in a black 2017 Nissan Murano, ran a red light, according to ISP. Mitchell’s vehicle struck a silver 2004 GMC Sierra driven by David Delgado, 50, of Coeur d’Alene. Delgado was traveling eastbound on Golf Course Road when the collision occurred.

Annette Mitchell, who was also injured, was transporting Casey Mitchell, with a medical emergency, at the time of the crash, per ISP.
