ROYAL CITY — Farmers and orchardists in need of irrigation parts and pipe no longer have to make the trip to George or Moses Lake as Lad Irrigation has opened a new 6,400 square-foot facility on seven acres of land adjacent from the Port of Royal Slope office on Road 13.5 SW.
“We’ve had a lot of clientele in the Royal area visiting with us over the years about getting a location here,” said Lad Irrigation president and general manager Randy Gubler. “We’re excited to be out here and feel it’s a good move for us.”
The orchard business was the biggest draw for Lad to open up shop in Royal.
“It is very attractive to us,” Gubler said.
The facility stocks parts and pieces to repair center pivots, pump panels and sprinklers, and inventories valves, flanges and PVC pipe.
Parts supervisor Rich Russell and customer service reps Robert Thompson and Juan Rodriguez have a vast knowledge of the irrigation industry, and will be able to assist in any need that arises.
The hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. The store phone number is 509-331-5032.
