Ephrata's Peters nabs fourth Suncadia Invite crown

CLE ELUM — Ephrata’s Kenedee Peters completed a career sweep of the Suncadia Invitational.

Peters, who had won the event the previous three years, posted an event-best 69. Peters previously shot 73 her freshman and sophomore seasons and 72 last season.

Bellingham’s Jada French and Bellevue’s Julia Dai both scorched the back nine to score 70, but neither could overtake Peters.

Belleuve took home the team title with a score of 319. Ephrata (356) and Othello (480) was seventh and 18th, respectively.
