Whitefish wipes out Corvallis; Polson loses close one

CORVALLIS — Whitefish tennis downed host Corvallis 5-2 on Friday behind singles wins from Eric Holdhusen, Jayce Cripe and Noah Fauth.

Zach Brandt/Colter Upton and Jamie Schwartz/Carver Gilman picked up the doubles wins for the Bulldogs.

Corvallis was able to edge Polson, 4-3.

After winning three of four singles matches, Gabe DeLeo and Caleb Warnken captured their doubles match to secure the narrow victory for the Blue Devils.

Alex Mausshardt was Polson’s lone singles winner at No. 3.

Carson McDaniel/Sam Schultz and Trevor Schultz/Anton Lefthand picked up doubles victories.
