Business burglaries reported in Post Falls

POST FALLS — Police haven't found evidence that connects two Post Falls business burglaries reported around the same time on Monday morning.
The Club Tequila bar at 402 E. Seltice Way was broken into and vandalized either late Sunday night or early Monday, along with an undisclosed apartment complex office on the west side of the city.
"There's nothing that we've found that links the two," Post Falls police Detective Mark Goodwin said. "We're still working with both companies to find any further evidence."
Goodwin said Tuesday afternoon that police don't have any suspect or vehicle descriptions, but surveillance video is being reviewed.
A home security camera at a residence near Club Tequila captured two males hanging around near the bar at 5 a.m. The resident told police one male hid a bag in bushes and, when a second male arrived, they took the bag and left behind a black mask.
"It appears there was property stolen at Club Tequila and the owner is determining (a list)," Goodwin said. "There was also a lot of damage inside. Cabinets and doors were broken."
When a female arrived at the bar on Monday morning she discovered the business had been damaged and the back door had been kicked in, according to police.
Goodwin said it does not appear anything was taken during the apartment complex office incident. Video surveillance of the incident is being reviewed.
Press requests for the full police reports on the burglaries were denied Tuesday as detectives cited the active investigations.
