Women's League golf for Aug. 1

The Cabinet View Women’s League met August 1 for their regular Wednesday morning round at Cabinet View Golf Course.

The game of the day was Two-person Blind Draw, with the win for lowest net score.

In group ‘A’, there was a group tie, with all players having the same score. Barb Mee, Pat Neils and Nancy Hull all had a net of 31.

The low net win for group ‘B’ went to Phyll Mackey and Donna Havens, with a net of 66.

The low gross for the day for group ‘A’ came from Nuncy Hull, who had a 43 and a birdie on the fourth hole.

The lowest net individual in group ‘B’ was Anna Guthrie with a 34.

The Women’s League starts playing at 9 a.m. on Wednesdays at Cabinet View Golf Course, and they invite any lady golfer to join the group.

The group gathers at the clubhouse any time after 8 a.m. for coffee and a snack. After a round of golf, they meets for lunch at a local restaurant.
