Camren Charles Horn, 19, of Post Falls, was recently called to serve a two-year mission to the Iquitos, Peru Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will enter the Lima, Peru Missionary Training Center on Aug. 7. He is the son of Shannon and Laura Horn, also of Post Falls.

A 2017 graduate of Post Falls High School, Camren had the distinction of receiving an award for Best Student Athlete. He also attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Camren presently works for Athlete Landscaping.

Gwendolyn Alice Kimball, 19, of Tekoa, Wash., a member of the Plummer Branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, received her call to serve an 18-month mission to the Columbus, Ohio Mission. She entered the Provo, Utah Missionary Training Center on Aug. 1. She is the daughter of Joel and Christy Kimball, also of Tekoa.

Gwen received the Young Woman Medallion. She was home schooled and graduated a year early in 2016 from Columbia Virtual Academy. She last worked as a private in-home care giver for an elderly lady in Tekoa.

Gavin Roy Kimball, 21, of Tekoa, Wash., was recently called to serve a two-year mission to the México, México City South Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will enter the Missionary Training Center in Mexico City on Aug. 14. Christy and Joel Kimball, also of Tekoa, are his parents.

A 2014 high school graduate, Gavin was home schooled and finished his high school curriculum at 17. He took his EMT training where he received special recognition for being in the top 2 of his class. He worked as a volunteer EMT for the Tekoa Ambulance Service. Gavin last worked as a ranch hand for Quick Water Ranch and Sky Mountain Ranch.
