Women's League golf results for Aug. 8

The Cabinet View Women’s League met August 8 for their regular Wednesday morning round at Cabinet View Golf Club.

The game of the day was Best Six Holes.

In group ‘A’, there was a tie, with Bobbie Bamford and Nancy Hull both making a 28.

The group ‘B’ winner was Anna Guthrie, who scored 25.

The low gross for group ‘A’ was Bobbie Bamford, with 48, and low net was Nancy Hull, with 38.

Ann Guthrie shot a 46 for the group ‘B’ low gross, and low net went to Donna Havens, with a 33.

The group had a host of birdies. Guthrie birdied holes 11 and 17, Bamford birdied hole 12, and Hull birdied hole 11.

The Women’s League starts playing at 9 a.m. on Wednesdays at Cabinet View Golf Club, and they invite any lady golfer to join the group.

The group gathers at the clubhouse any time after 8 a.m. for coffee and a snack. After a round of golf, they meet for lunch at a local restaurant.
