OLDTOWN — Two 20-year-old Bonner County men were arrested on Sunday for allegedly propositioning underage girls for sex, court records show.

Anthony Charles Matlock is charged with three counts of felony solicitation and misdemeanor counts of sexual battery and providing alcohol to a minor. Taylon M. Young is charged with misdemeanor sexual battery and providing alcohol to a minor.

A sheriff’s deputy was summoned to the 400 block of Spruce Avenue after dispatchers received a report of disorderly conduct.

The teens were discovered outside and told the deputy that the two men picked them up to hang out at their place.

The teens, 14 and 17, said they were offered alcohol, a probable cause affidavit said. The teens picked up “creepy vibes” in the home, which prompted them to claim they were lesbians in order to ward off harassment, the affidavit said.

Despite advising the young men of their ages, Matlock allegedly encouraged the teens to engage in a sex act so he could film it, according to the affidavit.

Matlock and Young also allegedly offered money and/or alcohol in exchange for a sex act, court documents indicate. Matlock and Young are also accused of putting their hands on the 17-year-old’s body.

Matlock and Young admitted soliciting the teens for sex acts, the affidavit said.

A preliminary hearing on the felony charges in Matlock’s case is set for Aug. 29.
