Two-hour electrical outage in Moses Lake Wednesday

MOSES LAKE — An early-morning electrical outage affected about 480 customers in the Knolls Vista neighborhood of Moses Lake Wednesday, The outage occurred about 5:30 a.m.; power was restored at about 7:50 a.m., said Ryan Holterhoff, public information specialist for the Grant County PUD. A breaker tripped (which means it closed, interrupting the flow of electricity) at a substation, but PUD officials don’t know yet what caused it, Holterhoff said.
