Tip-a-Cop fundraiser coming Wednesday

MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake Police Department and Grant County Sheriff’s Office will be waiting tables and pouring beverages Wednesday for their second annual Tip-a-Cop fundraiser to support Shop with a Cop.
The fundraiser will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Rock Top Burgers & Brew, 930 N. Stratford Rd. in Moses Lake. Deputies and officers will be teaming up with Rock Top servers and all tips left by customers will go to help fund the MLPD’s and GCSO’s annual Shop with a Cop event. Santa will also be making an appearance during the event, which raised about $5,000 last year.
In Shop with a Cop local children, as well as their families, are given the opportunity to have a special Christmas by going a shopping spree with officers and deputies.
