It’s a combination art show and sale with the art of Eli Sevenich, Pend Oreille Arts Council artist of the year, featured in a unique exhibition that includes 23 local artists. Opening with a reception for Sevenich on Friday, Dec. 14 from 5:30 to 7 p.m., this sale/show will continue throughout the weekend at the POAC Gallery in the Cedar Street Bridge. Saturday and Sunday hours will be from 10 to 3 p.m.

“There will be artwork in a large variety of mediums including painting, photography, sculpting, ceramics, fiber arts and jewelry,” Lucy Bigley, POAC visual arts administrator said. “Whether you’re gift-shopping or just browsing, we hope you enjoy the show!”

Sevenich was honored as artist of the year at POAC’s Art Party last June. She was chosen for her dedicated volunteer work in POAC’s educational program, Kaleidoscope, which brings hands-on art lessons to elementary school children in grades three through six.
