BONNERS FERRY — The Lady Badgers jumped out to 16-2 first quarter lead and cruised to a 61-27 victory over the visiting Wallace Miners on Thursday, Nov. 29.
Holly Ansley led the Badgers with 19 points, making 8 of her 13 field goal attempts. Ansley also had seven steals. Senior Mackenzie Jackson had a solid performance, with 10 points and a team-leading 9 rebounds.

Badgers double-up Cusick: Baylee Blackmore recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Badgers over the visiting Cusick Panthers, 51-24. Holly Ansley scored 16 points and also dished out 5 assists.

The Badgers continue a busy stretch of their season, playing six games in 10 days — beginning with a home game tonight vs. Kettle Falls. They also host Sandpoint in a girls/boys doubleheader, with the girls game tipping off at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the BFHS gym. The boys game follows at 6:30.

Lady Badgers struggle at Timberlake
SPIRIT LAKE — Taryn Soumas scored 17 points, including four 3-pointers, as she led the Timberlake Tigers to a 66-37 victory over the visiting Badgers on Wednesday, Jan. 8. Blayre Jeffs, a 6-foot-5 post, added 14 points for the Tigers, who are ranked #2 in the Idaho 3A state rankings.
Lady Badgers second at districts, fall to Teton in state play-in game
It was a busy week of travel for the Badgers as they played four away games in six days while traveling 1,442 miles.
