Pediatric clinic open house attracts crowd

Over 350 people stopped in for a free fun-filled event unveiling Kaniksu Health’s recently updated pediatric clinic.
Families enjoyed wandering through the clinic, meeting staff, and partaking in a myriad of fun activities such as face painting and a scavenger hunt, as well as entertaining and educational games. Light refreshments and yummy snacks were served, including ice cream from Panhandle Cone and Coffee. To top it off, over 100 free costumes were handed out to those in need (all donated by local individuals). Each guest was also entered to win great prizes, including a birthday party for 12 at Huckleberry Lanes, a $50 Visa gift card, and a fun day for four at the Hickey Farms Pumpkin Patch.
Kaniksu Health Services is a non-profit, federally qualified community health center that provides high quality, comprehensive and affordable medical, pediatric, dental, behavioral health and veteran care. Clinics located in Bonner or Boundary counties: Kaniksu Bonners Ferry, Kaniksu Ponderay, Kaniksu Priest River, Kaniksu Sandpoint Pediatrics, and Sandpoint Veterans Clinic.
