Lake County officials have identified a Pablo man killed in a hit-and-run crash early Saturday morning on U.S. 93.

According to Lake County Sheriff Don Bell, the victim was 20-year-old Aiden Finley.

According to Montana Highway Patrol, Finley was crossing U.S. 93 near mile-marker 53 at about 1:05 a.m. when he was struck by an unknown vehicle traveling north.

A Highway Patrol representative said there were no indications of the vehicle braking before or after it hit Finley, who was wearing dark clothing. After being hit, Finley came to rest in the middle of the highway and was dead on the scene.

Law enforcement officials have not identified a suspect. The county Sheriff’s Office, Montana Highway Patrol and Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribal Police are investigating the crash.
