Sandpoint readies for snowfall today
Bonner County Daily Bee | UPDATED 7 years AGO
SANDPOINT — Heavy snowfall is forecasted, slated to start today at 4 a.m. and continue through Wednesday morning with an expected accumulation of 6-8 inches.
City crews are scheduled to provide continuous snow removal on Priority 1 streets. Due to the volume of vehicles parked on the street, crews are unable to begin plowing downtown until 2 a.m. Plowing on Priority 3, residential streets, is scheduled to begin around 8 a.m. on Wednesday.
In accordance with city policy, please only park vehicles on the even side of the street, unless posted otherwise. The city’s updated snow removal plan and route map is available on the Engage Sandpoint mobile app as well as on the city’s website at https://stories.opengov.com/sandpointid/published/ByCSC6-Cm. Citizens with snow removal concerns are encouraged to leave a message for streets maintenance at 208-920-SNOW.
