CONNELL — A man from Othello was injured in a collision north of Connell Wednesday morning.

About 7:25 a.m. David Garza, 37, of Othello, was driving a 2008 Ford F-250 pickup truck south on state Route 17, about 13 miles north of Connell, when he reportedly lost control of the truck. The vehicle reportedly ended up rolling off of the SR-17 shoulder, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Garza was injured in the rollover and transported to Othello Community Hospital for treatment. The pickup truck was totaled in the crash and impounded. The patrol says Garza was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
