Rebutting three recent letter writers, first of all, thanks for the compliment. We are proud to be Trump bashers. Looks like the “Trumpers” are getting worried about January when the Democrats take over the House. Republicans, tired of winning yet?

There is one group of military I would like to apologize to. That’s the 5,600 troops that missed/will miss the holidays because they are stationed at the border; an obvious political stunt. For the umpteenth time, I served four years in the Marine Corps (not Core). I am a Vietnam veteran; my MOS was 0811. If you still support a “man” who refused to walk with the NATO leaders in France, would not visit Arlington Cemetery to honor the fallen on Veterans Day, dodged the draft because of “bone spurs,” said John McCain was not a hero because he was captured, and has not visited our troops in a war zone like all past presidents, then I would say you are a hypocrite.

As far as making America great again; examples are Harley Davidson, GM and the ever-tanking stock market. Farmers and ranchers need a bailout due to Trump’s tariffs. President Obama did make America great again. He pulled us out of the worst recession since the Great Depression.

Trump has a majority Congress and all he did was give the rich a tax cut. Where is the 10 percent tax cut? New rally sign: “Promises made, promises broken.”

I only state facts, not spread hateful rhetoric. Actions speak louder than words.
