Buzz loved his horses, his dogs, and his grandkids. He loved to golf and square dance. Buzz was known for his great hunting and fishing skills. In his younger years, he was a star player on the high school basketball team. He also enjoyed coaching Little League and post-game he loved to load all his players in the back of his pick-up truck and take them for ice cream. Buzz was a life member of the Elk’s Club. Buzz will be remembered for his smile and laugh, his sense of humor, and his striking good looks. Often he laughed so hard he’d cry tears. Buzz was known for his sweet tooth — dessert was his favorite course and he always had to have the biggest piece. His favorite meal was chicken-fried steak.
Buzz was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. We will miss his quick wit, sparkling eyes, and kind gentle spirit.
