Make seeking Jesus' peace your resolution

Mankind’s New Year’s resolution should be “seeking Jesus’ peace”

In John 14:27, Jesus said “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Sometimes men seek peace in money, property and prestige, only to find themselves still feeling “empty” inside. True peace only comes from the love of Christ and the grace that was paid for us on the cross. In John 15:12, Jesus said “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”

So ask yourself, “will you make a New Year’s resolution to love someone as Christ has loved you?” If we all would do this the world would be a better place.
