Montana hunting season closures

HD 380
The hunting of female mountain lions in southwestern Montana hunting district 380, which includes portions of Broadwater, Jefferson and Lewis and Clark counties, will close one-half hour after sunset on Friday, Dec. 28.
The closure notice came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word the pre-established harvest sub-quota for the district was met.
HD 314
The hunting of all mountain lions in hunting district 314, which includes portions of Gallatin and Park counties, closed Dec. 27.

TD 1
By order of the Montana Fish & Wildlife Commission the season for trapping of all bobcats in Trapping District 1 in northwestern Montana closed Dec. 26.
The district includes parts of Flathead, Lake, Lincoln, Lewis & Clark, Mineral, Missoula, Powell and Sanders counties.
HDs 390 and 391
The hunting of all mountain lions in southwestern Montana hunting districts 390 and 391, which include portions of Broadwater, Gallatin, and Meagher counties, closed Dec. 24.
The order came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word the pre-established harvest quota for lions in the districts combined had been met.

The hunting of male mountain lions in northwestern Montana Hunting District 122, which includes portions of Flathead, Sanders and Lincoln counties, closed Dec. 24.
The closure notice for the hunt came shortly after Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest sub-quota for lions in this district has been met.
