What will 2019 bring?

It's New Year's Eve, a time to contemplate resolutions and plunge into the year ahead face first.

The new year brings about a clean slate and a fresh start, but it will also bring a few things we're not so excited about. Just like any year, North Idaho is prepared to take the good with the (hopefully minimal) bad.

Q: What are you most looking forward to in 2019?

Collin Bailey, 8, Coeur d'Alene: "Hanging out with my family and eating food."

Q: What are you not looking forward to?

"Going to school. I do not like math."

Q: What are you most looking forward to in 2019?

Kelsey Vershum, 17, Coeur d'Alene: "I'm looking forward to graduating, going to college and also just trying to be a better person and having fun."

Q: What are you not looking forward to?

"Actually having to be an adult when I turn 18, but that's in August, so it's not that big of a deal."

Q: What are you most looking forward to in 2019?

Kalynda Bailey, Coeur d'Alene: "I'm looking forward to hanging out with family and trying new things."

Q: What are you not looking forward to?

"Paying bills."

Q: What are you most looking forward to in 2019?

Elaine Philips, Coeur d'Alene: "What I want to see happen is that people put aside their differences, political and otherwise, find their commonality and reach out and become friends."

Q: What are you not looking forward to?

"I don't want to see all of us forgetting to enjoy every good thing that this beautiful town has to offer."

Q: What are you most looking forward to in 2019?

Emily Dupree, 20, Coeur d'Alene: "All of the art I'm going to create and the people I'm going to meet."

Q: What are you not looking forward to?

"The challenges I'm going to face with my artwork."

Bill Philips, Coeur d'Alene: "Good golfing weather, family happiness and happy times."

"I am not looking forward to bad weather."
