Teresa Mocko was arraigned for possession of drugs drug paraphernalia Monday, Jan. 29 in Montana 19th Judicial District Court in Libby.

Mocko was on a $40,000 bond from Lincoln County Jail in relation to previous drug-related charges.

On Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, a search warrant was served at Mocko’s Eureka residence. Officers discovered methamphetamine, marijuana and tools of distribution. The affidavit from Eureka City Police Department officer Clint Heintz also stated that the residence was within 100 feet of Lincoln County High School.

Heintz charged Mocko on 10 counts, including distribution of drugs near a school, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.

On Thursday, Jan. 10, Mocko was discovered in possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia related to marijuana, according to the affidavit from Deputy Lincoln County Attorney Jeffrey Zwang.

The new charges would be a felony and a misdemeanor, respectively. On the possession of methamphetamine, Mocko could face up to 5 years in jail or a $5,000 fine. For the paraphernalia she could face up to 6 months in jail or a $500 fine.

Mocko’s attorney, Scott Johnson, requested that she be released on bail, noting that she has always stayed in contact with him in the past and does not present a flight risk.

Judge Matt Cuffe declined to release Mocko on bail. He said he was not satisfied that she would not violate the terms of her release due to the current circumstances.

Mocko will have an omnibus hearing Tuesday, Mar. 12.

Within the same court appearance, the court heard a petition to revoke Moko’s bail, related to the current charges. Mocko’s attorney informed the court that she denies the accusations.

The petition to revoke will be adjudicated Tuesday, Feb. 20.
