NOTICE OF APPLICATION February 2, 2018 Notice is hereby given that a Short Subdivision application was received by Grant County on January 12, 2018 from Randy Niessner (Designated Contact: J. Curtis & Associates (Jeff Curtis), PO Box 956, Mattawa, WA 99349) was found to be technically complete on January 30, 2018. PROJECT: A Short Subdivision of one parcel that is approximately 30.65 acres in size to create three (3) lots in the Urban Light Industrial (ULI) and Urban Heavy Industrial (UHI) zones. Lot 1 will be about 11.05 acres in size and will be used for light industrial business purposes. Lot 2 will be approximately 3.11 acres in size and will also be used for light industrial business purposes. NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed bids, plainly marked "BID FOR 2018 Crushing and Stockpiling", will be received by Grant County at the Office of the Board of County Commissioners located in the County Courthouse, P.O. Box 37, 35 C Street NW - Room 206, Ephrata, WA, 98823, until 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, February 6, 2018 and will then and there, in the commissioners hearing room, be opened and publicly read for the construction of the improvements. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. No conditional bid bond will be accepted. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Grant County. Maps, plans and specifications may be purchased from the office of the County Engineer, 124 Enterprise St. S.E., Ephrata, WA 98823, upon payment of the amount of $25.00 (non-refundable).
