MOSES LAKE — Both of the suspects from a weekend shooting near Moses Lake have been taken into custody.

Patrick Pearson, 45, of Moses Lake, was apprehended by U.S. Marshals in the Mae Valley Area on Monday. He has been booked into the Grant County Jail. Pearson was wanted in connection with a shooting at a public fishing access road at Neppel Road Northeast and Road 10.4 Northeast on Sunday.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office reports multiple shots were fired between the occupants of two moving vehicles. The driver of one the involved vehicles and one of the suspects, 29-year-old Matthew Low, was initially believed to have been struck by gunfire and was on the run since the shooting. Low was reportedly taken into custody by U.S. Marshals at a home in Cheney on Tuesday. Low was found not to be injured from Sunday's shooting

In addition to arresting Pearson and Low, U.S. Marshals contacted Low’s father, 48-year-old Stephen Low, on Monday and questioned if he knew the whereabouts of his son. Stephen Low ended up getting arrested for possessing a stolen handgun and a stolen motorcycle,

Pearson was allegedly the driver of the other vehicle involved in the shooting. He was reportedly shot in the arm and treated at a local hospital on Sunday. Due to lack of probable cause at the time, Pearson was released from police custody. Investigators later obtained evidence that amounted to probable cause for Pearson’s arrest.
