The fire was reported around 12:24 p.m. according to Marion Fire Department Chief Katie Mast. The building contained 30 storage units. Three other storage-unit buildings located at the site were not impacted by the fire. No injuries were reported.

In addition to Marion Fire Department, responding agencies included Smith Valley Fire Department, West Valley Fire Department and South Kalispell Fire Department.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by an arson team, Mast said.
