May 6, 1938 – February 7, 2018

Samuel Price Stuart, 79, of Pulaski, Va. passed into the arms of our Lord and Savior peacefully on Feb. 7, 2018. Born on May 6, 1938, Sam was the son of Samuel Marvin Stuart and Ethel Mae Craig.

Sam was a 50-year IBEW electrician who spent his life working from the east coast to the west, finally settling in Moses Lake, Wash.

Sam’s lifelong passion was fishing. He would meet people out and about in Moses Lake and soon they would be out in his boat fishing. Sam was a quiet, generous man who rarely met a stranger.

Left to cherish his memory are the love of his life Anita and his daughters Carolyn (Jim) Masters and Lynn (Jim) May. He is also survived by his grandchildren Josh (Janet) Ingraham, Nicole Ingraham, Matthew (Michelle) Stuart, Timothy (Apryl) May, Briana May and Megan (Ben) Ring and nine great-grandchildren.

A special thank-you to all who visited with Sam in his last weeks of life and to his compassionate nurses from assured hospice. His family would also like to express their sincere thankfulness to Sam and Anita’s loving Pastor Dennis Fountain who stopped in multiple times a day to pray, to laugh, to minister and to love on them.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb 17, 2018 at 11 a.m., at the Moses Lake Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Moses Lake Baptist Church building fund can be made. Please sign the online guestbook or leave a note for the family at www.kayserschapel.com. Arrangements are in care of Kayser’s Chapel & Crematory.
