School archery program coming up

The National Archery in Schools Programis getting set to kick off this coming March.

The event is open to local grade students from fifth to 12th grade. The physical educational program is designed to teach kids the fundamentals of archery.

Boys and girls alike will shoot bullseye targets. The goal of the program is to provide students with the ‘ingredients’ to become involved in a life skill.

Schools will be competing to win the title of NASP Montana State Champion.

The local event will be held at the Plains High School Gym on March 3,2018.
