Roland D. Arneson

Roland D. Arneson, passed away suddenly on Feb. 8, 2018. He recently celebrated turning 85 on Feb. 5.

Roland was the oldest brother to Ione (Al) Schraw, Donnalee Splettstaszer, Karol (Will) Thompson and Rob (Patsy) Arneson. Roland was the father to Dan (Rose) Arneson, Teresa (Peter) Ofner, and Rocky (Amber) Arneson. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Roland worked at the Plum Creek Lumber Company in Pablo as a planer man beginning in 1958.

R. C. model planes were his hobby and his passion. He built planes, flew them and taught many people to fly them. Roland lived his entire adult life in Polson and had many friends and he will be missed by many.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 12, at the Lake Funeral Home in Polson. Visitation began at the funeral home an hour prior to the service. Interment took place at Lakeview Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13.
