Arrests made in Othello shooting

OTHELLO — Deputies in Adams County have made several arrests in connection with a shooting near Othello that left a man injured.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office says Juan Omar Gonzalez, 55, was taken into custody on Tuesday, Feb. 6 in connection with a shooting on South Saddle Road, west of Othello that left a 22-year-old man with a gunshot wound. Gonzalez was arrested on charges of second-degree assault and felony harassment.
The victim was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Few details have been released about the events that lead up to the shooting or a possible motive. On Tuesday morning ACSO deputies served a search warrant at a residence in the 600 block of Saddle Road and several people were detained for questioning.
In addition to Gonzalez, the following people have been arrested as deputies have investigated the shooting: Osbaldo Israel Saucedo, 28, on outstanding Adams and Grant County warrants; Hector Carrillo Gonzalez, 51, on outstanding Benton County and Adams County warrants; Ashley Dawn Younger, 32, on an outstanding Department of Corrections warrant and Comaletta Evelyn Monroe, 39, on two outstanding Adams County warrants.

Big turnout for Warden Community Days
