Officials with the Polson School District are trying to piece together an alleged burglary that took place at Linderman Elementary over the weekend.

Superintendent Rex Weltz said that access was gained through a window and so far, electronics appear to be missing.

“There are leads,” he said, adding that the district will work with the Polson Police Department through an investigation.

Officials are reviewing footage from surveillance cameras located at the school.

Weltz also gave a brief update on the gymnasium, which suffered damage earlier this year after a snow storm dumped heavy snow on the structure.

A second structural engineer looked at the building, and a report is expected by the end of this week.

These are developing stories.
