SANDPOINT — The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome Ting Internet to the chamber as an executive elite member.

Ting is bringing fiber internet speeds to Sandpoint area businesses, institutions, and commercial properties in addition to greater Sandpoint residents.

Ting’s fiber internet offers “symmetrical gigabit” speeds. That means 1,000 megabits per second download and the same 1,000 mbps upload speed. This will be particularly useful for area businesses that rely on fast and consistent internet connection for their daily operations.

“I’m excited to be a part of Ting and very excited for what new opportunities it can bring to my hometown with not only fast fiber, but exceptional customer service and sincere community involvement,” said Kari Daarstad Saccomanno, Ting’s city manager. She’s working alongside their local team members Autumn Whitley, marketing specialist, and Garry Duhamel, fiber deployment manager.

Construction of the company’s fiber network in Sandpoint begins in the spring 2018. You can pre-order services or contact them with any questions at 208-946-5404 or ting.com/sandpoint.
