The Mineral County Sheriff’s Office welcomed its newest deputy, Bry Townsley, to the force last month. Deputy Townsley has been working in Missoula County as a detention officer for the past three years and prior to that served in the United States Navy.

Deputy Townsley said he is excited to get to know the area and meet the citizens of Mineral County, according to a statement by the Sheriff’s Office.

He will be joining Deputies Travis Manning, Micah Allard, Reserve Deputy Joe Bettis, Sgt. A.J. Allard and Sheriff Mike Boone.
