MOSES LAKE — A residence in Moses Lake was reportedly struck several times by gunfire last week.
A woman told Moses Lake police officers that Friday night she was standing in her dining room in the 9700 block of Sunny Drive Northeast when she heard five gunshots. The woman said she felt something hit the side of her nose, but no signs of injury were found on her face and she declined medical attention. There was no other reported injuries.
MLPD officers searched the house and reportedly found a .380 caliber shell casing and two bullet fragments, one of which was stuck in some siding and the other on a chair. Police records indicate several bullet holes were found inside and outside of the residence.
“There was also drywall and other residue in the residence on the couch, consistent with fresh bullet holes penetrating the walls,” MLPD records state.
The woman described the suspect vehicle as a four-door passenger vehicle. She said the rear windows on the car were tinted to be darker than the front windows and the vehicle left heading toward Longview Street Northeast.
If you have any information on the incident contact the Moses Lake Police Department at 509-764-3887.
