Courtesy photo Timberlake High sophomore Jeremy McLemore has been invited to participate for the state of Idaho football team in the 30th annual Down Under Sports Tournaments hosted on the Gold Coast of Australia this summer. McLemore would leave from Los Angeles on June 24 and return on July 3. Part of the trip includes sightseeing in Australia. McLemore has been playing football since third grade, and was named to the all-Intermountain League team this past season at linebacker. WRESTLING
Buzzsaw Wrestling Club signups for the upcoming Washington Little Guy Wrestling League are underway.
The club, a feeder program for Coeur d’Alene High wrestling, is for those in grades 1-8. Practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Coeur d’Alene High wrestling room starting Feb. 6, with ages 5-7 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., and ages 8 to 13 from 5:30 to 7.
Six tournaments are scheduled for February and March in the Spokane area.
