Grace M. Aman, 76, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Services will be held Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Sagle Victory Baptist Church on Gun Club Road in Sagle, Idaho.

Grace was born on Sept. 13, 1941, in Seattle, Wash., to Clifford and Lucille Lichty. She graduated high school in 1959 in Oregon. In 1969, she moved to Cocolalla.

She worked as a directory assistant for Bell Telephone in Salem, Ore., and Spokane, Wash. She retired from U.S. West in 1995.

She is a member of Sagle Victory Baptist Church. She loved her family and enjoyed watching their sports and activities. She rarely missed any games and often traveled far to be a part of the cheering sections.

One of her favorite hobbies was to crochet. There were probably very few ladies she knew that didn’t adorn one of her crochet scarves.

She is survived by her son, Bob (Janine) Lichty of Cocolalla; daughter, Tami Allen of Spokane; three grandchildren, Eric Lichty (Kristin O’Reilly) of Post Falls, Tyler (Rose) Lichty of Sagle, and Rachel Allen (Damian Hurley) of Spokane; three great-grandchildren, Kirra and Colton Lichty, and Raelynne Hurley; two sisters, Lynda (Dave) Townsend of Cocolalla, and Norma (Leon) Fotinatos of Cocolalla; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elvin and Lucille Moseby, and Cliff Lichty; a brother, Bob Baity; a nephew, Wayne Myers; and a great-nephew, Mason Townsend.

Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint is handling the arrangements.
