Idaho Pain Clinic welcomes Liz Morris

Idaho Pain Clinic is eager to announce it is now offering occupational therapy services to the community. While currently offering physical therapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, and pain management services, the providers of Idaho Pain Clinic are passionate about offering the community multiple health care and life style improvement opportunities; making the progression to offer occupational therapy a clear and obvious path for the clinic.

Occupational herapy services will be offered from experienced and licensed occupational therapist, Liz Morris. Morris has been practicing occupational therapy for over six years since graduating with her master’s degree from Ithaca College in 2011. She treats men and women of all ages; specializing in disorders of the hands, and while also helping those suffering from painful conditions or limitations in movement of their shoulders, elbows. Having advanced training through Herman and Wallace, she helps female clients overcome pelvic region incontinence and disorders.

Through Idaho Pain Clinic, Morris’ patients will have access to anodyne infrared light therapy, which has been highly successful in treating painful conditions such as neuropathy, tendinitis, carpal tunnel, tennis and golfers elbow, rotator cuff disorders, chronic neck and back pain as well as muscle soreness and inflammation of tendons. Additionally, patients will also have access to the Kinetisense 3D markerless motion detection device, which analyzes a client’s range of motion, posture, and balance.

Morris also will offer skilled manual therapy interventions which she learned during her training as an occupational therapist and during her training as a licensed massage therapist. Morris will also offer classic modalities including electrical stimulation and ultrasound therapy and in-house custom upper extremity splinting.

Along with Morris being a licensed occupational therapist and massage therapist, she is also a health coach and is able to help guide patients through ways to incorporate and change their lifestyles including diet and activity in order to achieve their health and wellness goals.
