No injuries were reported in a couple of fender benders involving Coeur d’Alene public school buses on snowy roadways this week.

In each case, another vehicle slid into the back of a bus with children on board.

One crash occurred Thursday at 3:10 p.m. at Grandview and Lookout drives in Hayden. The bus was transporting 25 middle and high school students.

Another bus was struck in the rear just before 7 a.m. Friday as it was turning from U.S. 95 onto Hayden Avenue. There were four middle and high school students on that bus.

In each case, Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office personnel responded and took reports. The buses were able to then continue on their routes, experiencing minor delays.
