Bernadette Johnson
Bernadette was born in Merced, Calif., on Jan. 28, 1970. She was the youngest of five born to Larry and Jewell Perreira. Bern graduated from Atwater High and moved to San Jose, where she meet her future husband, Ben Johnson. Married in 1990, she settled into the home life.
As the family grew, Bern and Ben decided to move to Idaho in 1998 with six children in tow. While in Idaho they had three more children to complete their family. Bern’s faith was a shining part of her life. She taught her children the importance of God in their lives. 2003 was a life changer when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Feeling well or not, Bernadette battled on for 14 years to see three of her children get married and spend time with five grandchildren. Bern leaves behind her husband, Ben, and children, Felicity, Rebecca, Chance, Sarah, Augustine, Alexander, Cecilia, Emma and Joshua. She will be missed terribly! Till we meet again babe!
