Walt and Fawn Farlin

50th Anniversary

Walt and Fawn Farlin recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with their children, Nikele and Rick Thorne, Chandra and Shane Hensley, and Amber and Tyler Drechsel.

They all had dinner at Cedars Floating Restaurant, where the Farlins have enjoyed at least 48 of 50 anniversary dinners.

Walt and Fawn were married Dec. 27, 1967, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. The ceremony was officiated by the late Rev. Doug Wanamaker.

Craig and Connie Burkhart

40th Anniversary

Craig and Connie Burkhart were married Jan. 21, 1978, and recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with their children and grandchildren by renting a lovely house on Lake Coeur d’Alene for a mini vacation.

They have three children, Lisa Thornburgh, Jacki Burkhart and Briana Richardson; and they have seven grandchildren.

Connie is a retired Dental Assistant and Craig has worked in banking for more than 40 years, currently at Idaho Independent Bank for 22 years.

They are looking forward to at least 40 more years together!

EDUCATION

Montana State University has announced its undergraduate honor rolls for fall semester 2017.

There are two MSU honor roll lists: the President’s and the Dean’s Honor Roll. Students must complete a minimum of 12 degree-eligible credit hours to be on either list.

Students with a perfect 4.0 grade point average for the semester were named to the President’s Honor Roll. An asterisk follows the names of the 1,120 students named to the MSU President’s Honor Roll in the listing below.

The Dean’s Honor Roll includes the 3,416 students earning grade point averages of 3.5 or above for the semester.

North Idaho students named to MSU’s President’s or Dean’s Lists, ordered according to their hometowns:
