3.0 quake jolts Bigfork area

Another mini earthquake struck the Bigfork area at approximately 6:45 p.m. Sunday evening.
The United States Geological Survey measured the tremors at a magnitude 3.0.
The quake hit one week after two minor earthquakes measuring 2.7 and 3.0 shook the north Flathead Lake area.
The tremors from this week’s earthquake went largely unnoticed, though some residents reported feeling their homes shaking and hearing a rumbling sound.
No damage has been reported as a result of the Sunday quake.
