COEUR d’ALENE — The six Republican candidates vying to represent Idaho's 1st Congressional District will participate in a candidate forum Sunday at the Coeur d’Alene Library.

The position is now held by U.S. Rep. Raul Labrador, who is seeking the primary nomination to be the Republican gubernatorial candidate on the ballot in November.

Candidates who have said they will attend Sunday's forum include: Rep. Luke Malek, R-Coeur d'Alene; Rep. Christy Perry, R-Nampa; former state Sen. Russ Fulcher; Michael Snyder of Bonners Ferry; former lieutenant governor and attorney general David Leroy; and Nick Henderson of Post Falls.

Schedule coordinator Stephanie Nelson said the candidates have "double confirmed."

The forum is hosted by the Kootenai County Reagan Republicans. It will take place at 1 p.m. in the Coeur d'Alene Public Library, 702 E. Front Ave.
