The wheels have come off the bus for the boys and girl’s basketball teams as both dropped games over the weekend. The boys are mired in a 5-game losing streak and have lost eight of their last nine games. The Huskies turned in a gallant effort Friday, but were turned back 87-80 by Wapato. The team suffered a 30-point blowout loss at the hands of the East Valley Red Devils Saturday.
The girls (2-11, 2-10) are having a worse time of things having dropped nine in a row and 10 of their last 11 games.
Both squads were in action Tuesday for a non-league tilt at Royal City, but the results were not available at press time.
