A mini quake shook Bigfork at approximately 6:45 p.m. Sunday evening, measured at a magnitude of 3.0 by the United States Geological Survey.

The quake hit one week after two minor earthquakes measuring 2.7 and 3.0 shook the north Flathead Lake area.

The tremors from this week’s earthquake went largely unnoticed, though some residents reported feeling their homes shaking and hearing a rumbling sound.

No damage has been reported as a result of the Sunday quake.
