HMH Engineering adds four new employees

HMH Engineering announced the addition of four new employees to its Hayden branch.

- Christine Baker, E.I.T (Engineer In Training), graduated from Boise State University with a B.S. in civil engineering. She then moved to Coeur d’Alene and joined the HMH design team. As an Engineer in Training, Christine will provide assistance on a wide variety of projects.

- Loren Smith joins the HMH design team, moving to North Idaho from Arizona, with more than 18 years of design/drafting experience including land development, survey, transportation and aviation disciplines. Smith has worked as project manager, senior civil designer, and as a lead civil drafting instructor.

- Malinda Becker is originally from Lewiston, Idaho, but has been living in the Coeur d’Alene area for more than 18 years. She is now part of HMH’s administration team after a 14-year career at Avondale Golf Club.

- Dianne Sullivan comes to HMH’s administration team after a successful 15 years as office manager at Holy Family Catholic School.

HMH is a North Idaho owned company providing engineering services in the fields of land and site development, water and sewer engineering, materials testing, GIS and surveying, and transportation engineering.

Johnson named chair of Idaho Nonprofit Center board

The Idaho Nonprofit Center, based in Boise, announced Ann Johnson, director of a Coeur d’Alene nonprofit, is its new board chair.

Johnson, executive director at Orchard Ridge, a nonprofit faith-based senior living community in Coeur d’Alene, has worked in the nonprofit sector for many years. “It’s been a pleasure to serve on this statewide board and an honor to serve as a representative of North Idaho. As board chair, I look forward to supporting the mission of the Idaho Nonprofit Center and its staff,” Johnson said, in a news release.

The Idaho Nonprofit Center (INC) represents the interests of Idaho’s over 6,000 registered charitable nonprofits and serves as a broker of information and a bridge between the nonprofit, for-profit and government sectors. Programs of the INC include Idaho Gives, the INC Statewide Conference, and Idaho Philanthropy Day.
