Bicyclist hit by vehicle in Moses Lake

MOSES LAKE — An elderly man was reportedly struck by a vehicle as he was riding his bicycle in Moses Lake earlier today.

The collision occurred near the Harvest Manor Estates and involved an elderly male bicyclist getting struck by a vehicle, according to Grant County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Kyle Foreman. The man was transported to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake for treatment of critical injuries. Information is not currently available on the driver of the vehicle or who was at fault in the collision.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office Motor Traffic Unit is investigating the incident. Foreman said he expects more information to be released either tonight or tomorrow.
