A two-car wreck in a remote area near Hungry Horse Reservoir Friday afternoon left three Wisconsin people hospitalized.
According to Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Laramie Stefani, a Chevy Cobalt was headed north on East Side Road when it crossed into the other lane and collided with an Evergreen garbage truck.
Stefani said the Cobalt was driving too fast for conditions on the gravel road when it skidded and hit the front of the truck.
All three people in the car were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Stefani said both people in the front seats were wearing seat belts, but it wasn’t known if the person in the back seat was wearing one.
The driver of the garbage truck was OK, Stefani said.
