Idaho man dies in Elmo cycle crash

An Idaho man died over the weekend following a crash near Elmo, according to law enforcement.
Montana Highway Patrol Sgt. Chan Berry confirmed that the man, 83, was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle westbound on Montana Highway 28 on Sunday, July 1, when the bike left the roadway near mile marker 41.
The operator, whose name was not released as of Monday, was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Barry said that alcohol and drugs are not believed to be a factor.
